IF YOU ARE NEW TO ZOOM, you can familiarize yourself with the application by starting a meeting. You do not have to invite anyone to your meeting to get familiar with the look and functionality of the application.
ZOOM CLASS RULES :
Students are responsible for reviewing and complying with all class requirements prior to attending training.
Students who are unable to successfully complete the course due to technical issues, language barriers, participation requirements, attendance requirements, or other non-disciplinary reasons may be required to reschedule to a future class. Applicable rescheduling fees may apply unless waived by the instructor.
Attendance alone does not guarantee certification. Students must successfully complete all participation, attendance, and state-required course requirements before a certificate can be issued.
Attendance Requirements
• No late entries are permitted. Once class has begun, students who are not present may be required to reschedule.
• If you miss Day 1, you may not attend Day 2. If you miss Day 2, you must repeat the entire course. Partial course completion is not permitted.
• Students must return from all scheduled breaks on time. Failure to return promptly may result in removal from the class and require rescheduling.
Participation Requirements
• This course requires active participation. Students must respond to instructor questions and participate in required activities throughout the course.
• Your face must remain visible on camera to the instructor at all times. Students who are not visible on camera may be considered absent for that portion of the training.
• A maximum of two (2) participants may attend from the same device.
• Students must participate from an appropriate, professional, and distraction-free environment.
• Participation from a bed, moving vehicle, public transportation, workplace activities, shopping locations, or other distracting environments is not permitted.
• Multitasking during class is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, childcare, phone calls, texting, paperwork, shopping, housework, side conversations, or other activities that interfere with participation.
• Children may not appear on camera or audio during class sessions.
• Students may not leave the class while instruction is actively taking place except during scheduled breaks or with instructor approval.
Language Requirements
• This course is taught entirely in English.
• Students must be able to communicate with the instructor and participate in all required activities conducted in English.
• Students who require language assistance must provide their own translator.
• Translators must remain present for the entire course, appear on camera with the student when requested, and actively assist with communication throughout the training.
• Students who are unable to participate due to language barriers may be required to reschedule until appropriate translation assistance is available.
Technology Requirements
• Students are responsible for ensuring they have a reliable internet connection, functioning camera, microphone, audio capability, and sufficient battery power or charging capability throughout the course.
• Technical difficulties, power interruptions, device failures, software issues, or internet connectivity problems may prevent successful course completion and could require rescheduling.
Recording & Compliance
• Classes may be recorded and are subject to audit or review by state licensing authorities.
• By attending the course, you consent to recording for compliance, quality assurance, and regulatory purposes.
Instructor Authority
• Instructors are responsible for maintaining a productive learning environment and ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements.
• Students who repeatedly fail to comply with course requirements after instructor warnings may be removed from the class and may be required to reschedule before certification can be issued.
Certificate Delivery
• Certificates are issued only after all course requirements have been successfully completed.
• Final certificates will be mailed to the address provided during registration. Students are responsible for ensuring their mailing address is accurate and current.
